The photographs show the cast of the AYPA play "The Bishop's Candlesticks" posing in costume. The caption on the back of one of the images identifies the people in the photographs as: Peter Shama, Milton Acorn, Arthur MacLean, Mary Acorn (later Mary Hooper) , Stewart Dickson (director), Barbara Pickard. They were the Drama Festival Winners of 1948.

Photograph A shows the AYPA cast of the play "This Night Shall Pass" in 1954. The photograph shows the cast from left to right: June Dickson (later June MacKenzie), Arthur MacLean, Harry Shama. Photograph B shows the same three individuals, and photograph C shows only Arthur MacLean and June Dickson. The newspaper clipping indicates that the performers won an award at the AYPA festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As noted on the back of the photographs and in the newspaper clipping, the director was A. Stuart Dickson.

Photograph A shows Reverend Canon E. M. Malone shaking hands with property warden Dr. Hammond Kelly. Photograph B is a miniature of photograph A. Photograph C shows Reverend Canon E. M. Malone standing with Marjorie Malone at the Diamond Jubilee celebration behind a table holding a three-tier cake, beside tall candles and flowers. Only Photograph C has been scanned. Photograph D is identical to A.

Diocesan Youth Pilgrimage photographs

The photographs show the Prince Edward Island diocesan youth pilgrimage to St. Paul's. The Celtic parish crosses shown in the images were patterned on Diocesan crosses carried by "hard way" pilgrims from the Welsh Youth Pilgrimage of 1955. The Prince Edward Islander pilgrims walked the seven miles from Milton into St. Paul's. Photographs 0057 A and 0057 B show the pilgrims in Milton, in front of St. John's Church. Photograph 0057 C shows the pilgrims arriving at St. Paul's Church. Canon Robert Tuck (Rector of Summerside and St Eleanor's) is on the right and Reverend Jacques Smith (rector of New London) on the left.
