The photograph shows a group of people standing in front of Fanningbank, current residence of the Lieutenant-Governer of PEI. The names of the people in the photograph are written on the back, as follows: Prince Arthur, Mrs. MacDonell, Sir Robert Hodgson, R. R. Hodgson, Lieutenant Prickard, Mrs. J. Hensley, Colonel Elphinstone, and Honourable J. Longworth.

The Anglican Missal

The missal is inscribed on the front leaf with the following: To the Glory of God and in pious memory of Margaret Matilda Jane Wife of Edward Jarvis Hodgson, This Missal was illuminated by Henry Coleridge Stuart for use at the Altar of the Chapel of All Souls St. Peter's Cathedral, Charlottetown, M. E. J. 1892."

The inside cover is embossed with a similar inscription in Latin, showing the book in memory of "Magaritae Matilda Joanna Hodgson," wife of Edward Jarvis Hodgson, showing death date of 19 October 1889.

Reverend John Chippendale Montesquieu Bellew portrait

The photograph is a head and shoulders portrait of John Chippendale Montesquieu Bellew. The handwritten note on the back reads "Mr. Bellew." At the bottom of the front indicates the photographers name, Mayall, Photo and on the right London & Brighton. Research indicates that this is John Chippendale Montesquieu Bellew (1823-1874), a popular preacher and public reader.

The photograph is a full-length portrait of Reverend Thomas Chamberlain. The handwritten note on the back of the photograph reads: "Rev. T Chamberlain." Research indicates that Thomas Chamberlain (1810-1892) was Honorary Canon of Christ Church, Oxford. He was made a Student (Fellow) of Christ Church, Oxford in 1832 and became the vicar of St Thomas the Martyr, Oxford, only a mile or so west of Christ Church, in 1842. Chamberlain was a notable 'tractarians' among the incumbents of Oxford parishes. He was made an Honorary Canon in 1882.

The portrait shows an oval head shot of Reverend Crosly White. A handwritten note on the back of the image reads "Rev. Crosly White S. Barnabas, Pimlico." The front of the image shows the name and address of the British photographers W. Walker & Sons (referring to William and Samuel Walker), of 64 Margaret St. Cavendish Square. The front also shows "Registered 25 & 26 Vic. C. 68" in reference to the "Creating Fine Arts Copyright Act of 1862."
