Parochial returns records are submitted by the church to the Diocese of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, in order to support financial allocations across the diocese. The parochial return form provides financial disclosure re: all sources of income generated by every organization within the church, including interest earned by, and donations made to all funds or accounts maintained by the parochial corporation, including memorial accounts. Final documents are retained by the church as archival evidence. The parochial returns files are as follows:

The Church Camps archives series consists of records related to Camp Kingston, from 1983 to 1997, including financial records, correspondence, reports, agendas, minutes, leaflets, notes, application documents, inspection records, and lists of campers. There is specific documentation in 1993 about the closure of Camp Kingston owing to environmental and structural problems. Also in the series is documentation about a camp at Oak Acres, from 1982, and a binder of children's liturgies used at Camp Kingston.

St. Peter's Choir archives

The archives of the Choir of St. Peter's includes: correspondence and leaflets, hymns and music, attendance books, cookbooks and fundraising materials, newspaper clippings, and photo albums. Included in the choir archives are records related to William Edgar Enman, publisher of "One Hun­dred Hymns and Sac­red Lyr­ics (ca. 1945), who was apparently an ac­tive lay­man of St. Pe­ter’s Ca­thed­ral. Also in the choir archives is a letter to Earnest E. Earle on his departure from St. Peter's choir in 1898.

Associated materials include recordings of choral performances, brought together in Collection SPCA 019. These audiovisual recordings are described separately and will be digitized as resources allow.

The documents relate to St. Peter's Cathedral Church's organ and include records related to the purchase, installation, and management of the organ, particularly in the 19th century. The historical notes and tour information series consists of documents created or brought together by St. Peter's Cathedral Church to provide historical information about the church or to be used for public tours or to prepare historical guides. The series also includes newspaper clippings with historical content and reports and presentations on the church's history prepared by members of the church. The anniversary planning and events series consists of documents created or brought together by St. Peter's Cathedral Church to celebrate the church's various anniversaries, including its 50th, 75th, 100th, 125th, and 150th. The series includes publications, video productions, photographs, posters, and related promotional items generated to support the anniversary events, along with news items about the anniversaries. Note that 150th anniversary records were added in 2020 and need to be reviewed after 2020 in the event that other anniversary planning records come to the archives.

The royal visit archives consist of guest lists, programmes and invitations, visitors' registers, a recording of the prayer service, and the pen used to sign the visitors' register, for the royal visits of Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, and Sophie, Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex. they visited as a couple in 2000 and Prince Edward visited again in 2007.

The archives of St. Peter's rectors and related clergy is an artificially organized series of records found during the processing of the backlog of church archives and brought together by the name of the clergy in question, based on provenance. The documents include personal correspondence, service-related materials, confirmation notes, programmes for installation services, newspaper clippings, reports, and other records. The clergy represented in these archives are: Canon Gerald E. Moffatt; Archdeacon J. R. Davies; Archdeacon George Stavert Tanton; Canon H. M. D. Westin; Father Peter Harris; Father David Garrett; Father David Harris; Father Jacques Smith; and Canon Robert Tuck. Also in the archives is documentation related to the enthronement of George F. Arnold as Bishop.

St. Peter's Cathedral Church service bulletins, programmes, and leaflets

The service bulletins series consists of bulletins, programmes, and leaflets prepared for St. Peter's church services and other special events. The regular service bulletins include information about the order of service as well as announcements and notices for the benefit of parishioners. Special service bulletins relate to funerals, weddings, confirmations, youth programmes, concerts, and ordinations, as well as leaflets about flowers for different services.

At least one copy of every bulletin found in the backlog has been retained, but the series is not complete and there are gaps in the records over the years. This series will expand as recent bulletins are transferred from the church office to the Archives.

A small selection of bulletins are described individually, with PDF copies produced for reference, if the bulletins relate to audiovisual recordings of the services in question. There is no plan to digitize all service bulletins at this time.

The service registers series consists of official listings of all services held in St. Peter's Cathedral Church and All Souls' Chapel from the start of services on 13 June 1869. The registers normally note number of congregants, numbers receiving communion, hymns sung, and additional service notes, as well as comments about such topics as weather, special events, etc. As well, some registers, particularly in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, included pasted in copies of correspondence, newspaper clippings, copies of annual reports, and other documents. The registers, therefore, contain a great deal of information about church activities beyond specific services.
