The photographs were contained in an envelope stamped on the front with the following: "If not called for in five days return to S. N. Kays 87 Pownal St. Charlottetown, P.E.I." Additional writing on the envelope also provides descriptive information about the contents, as follows: "Photo films of St. Peter's Cathedral. 1. Chapel Altar 2. Church Interior 3. Church Exterior 4. High Altar 5. Chapel Interior 6. Church and Chapel 7. Old Exterior. To be kept."

The postcard is of the nave and chancel; it matches negative No. 2. In envelope No. 3 there is one negative, in No. 4 there are two negatives. No. 5 was catalogued separately as Photo 440. In No. 6 there is one negative, in No. 7 there are two negatives.

Part of St. Peter's Cathedral chancel photographs and postcard

The photographs show the chancel of St. Peter's Cathedral including the rood screen and the altar. The screen was apparently designed by William Critchlow Harris while he was an apprentice to the architect David Stirling at the office of Stirling Dewar in Halifax. There are chairs at the edge of the photo which dates the picture to prior to 1926.Photograph B is slightly cropped and doesn't show the chairs.

Annual report for 1961. Note the new format as of 1959, with typed pages and the inclusion of obituaries and in memoriam notices. The 1961 report included obituary notices for Geoffrey David FitzGerald, his wife Flora Hope (Wiggins) FitzGerald, and Laura A. Young.
