St. Peter's Cathedral Chancel and rood screen postcard

The photograph is a postcard showing the chancel and rood screen in St. Peter's Cathedral. At the bottom of the card on the left is "St. Peter's Cathedral" and on the right is "Charlottetown, P.E. Island". The card was printed in Germany for Maritime Stationers Ltd by Raphael Tuck and Sons', art publishers to their Majesties, No. 1021.

St. Peter's Cathedral rood screen photograph

The photographs show the chancel of St. Peter's Cathedral including the rood screen and the altar. The screen was apparently designed by William Critchlow Harris while he was an apprentice to the architect David Stirling at the office of Stirling Dewar in Halifax. There are chairs at the edge of the photo which dates the picture to prior to 1926.Photograph B is slightly cropped and doesn't show the chairs.

St. Peter's Cathedral exterior photograph

The photograph is a northeast view of the exterior of St. Peter's in winter. There is a split rail fence around the church and no houses, and the ground and trees are covered in ice and snow. Apparently the photo was taken after an ice storm. The photograph is undated but the absence of houses and the square bell tower suggests it is from the late 1800s or early 1900s. More information is needed.

The photograph shows an exterior, frontal view of St. Peter's Cathedral and All Souls' Chapel, partially obscured by trees. Slight foliage on the trees indicates the photo was taken in the spring.

Father Edward W. Osborne portrait

The photograph shows a portrait of Father Osborne. The name of the photographic studio is embossed on the bottom of the photograph. The inscription on the back reads "Fr Osborne S.S.J.E., held mission here 1883, Anglican Bp of Springhill IN." He preached at the Jubilee service of 1919.
