Self-Interpreting Holy Bible containing the Old and New Testaments
The "self-interpreting" bible, with notes by Rev. John Brown, D.D., is also referred to as "the Wadman Bible" and includes an envelope and letter addressed to Edgar McNutt and a note re: the Wadman genealogy. The geneology itself is listed on the pages between the Old and New Testaments.
The book includes a bookplate for E. J. Hodgson with the inscription "E. J. Hodgson from his brother George." The date of 1848 seems to correlate to the inscription, not the publication date.
