St. Peter's Church Hall photographs
The photographs show interior and exterior views of the old cathedral hall before demolition. Photograph A shows the interior facing a stage at front. Photograph B shows the interior with folding doors at back. Photograph C shows the main entrance door from the outside. Photograph D shows the exterior facing All Souls' Lane. Photograph E shows the exterior facing Fitzroy Street. Photograph F shows the kitchen.
The photographs show Reverend Canon H. M. D. Westin and others in a St. Peter's Palm Sunday procession outside the Cathedral. David Kays is leading the procession; the rest of the people are unidentified. There is a slight difference between Photographs A and B, showing they were taken close together.
St. Peter's Cathedral photographs
The photographs were contained in an envelope stamped on the front with the following: "If not called for in five days return to S. N. Kays 87 Pownal St. Charlottetown, P.E.I." Additional writing on the envelope also provides descriptive information about the contents, as follows: "Photo films of St. Peter's Cathedral. 1. Chapel Altar 2. Church Interior 3. Church Exterior 4. High Altar 5. Chapel Interior 6. Church and Chapel 7. Old Exterior. To be kept."
The postcard is of the nave and chancel; it matches negative No. 2. In envelope No. 3 there is one negative, in No. 4 there are two negatives. No. 5 was catalogued separately as Photo 440. In No. 6 there is one negative, in No. 7 there are two negatives.
The photographs show the demolition of the old Church Hall. The event was described by Father Peter Harris as follows: "watched by a group of parishioners, the machine with the wrecking ball and mechanical jaws performed the actual taking down of the old building. By 4 pm, the old Hall had been reduced to a pile of rubble. By October, the Hall was almost complete and usable." Only photos A B C have been scanned.

Diocesan Youth Pilgrimage photographs
The photographs show the Prince Edward Island diocesan youth pilgrimage to St. Paul's. The Celtic parish crosses shown in the images were patterned on Diocesan crosses carried by "hard way" pilgrims from the Welsh Youth Pilgrimage of 1955. The Prince Edward Islander pilgrims walked the seven miles from Milton into St. Paul's. Photographs 0057 A and 0057 B show the pilgrims in Milton, in front of St. John's Church. Photograph 0057 C shows the pilgrims arriving at St. Paul's Church. Canon Robert Tuck (Rector of Summerside and St Eleanor's) is on the right and Reverend Jacques Smith (rector of New London) on the left.
St. Peter's Men's Group photographs
The photographs show the St. Peter's Men's Group cleaning brass in advance of Christmas services. The parishioners involved were Donalda and Karl Winter, MIchael and Eric Edward, Paul Taweel, Charles Williams and Ivan MacKenzie. Photos A, B, and C have been scanned.
