The photograph is a group portrait of a number of clergymen at the funeral of G.W. Hodgson. Reverend Charles Darling is identified as the assistant priest of St. Matthias Church. The young men with him are identified as A. Irwin, R. Irwin and C. Hine.

The photograph is a portrait of E. B. Spurr. An inscription on the back reads "Prepared for matriculation." The book "Act of Faith" notes that E. B. Spurr took his matriculation exam in 1901 at King's College, Windsor, N. S.

The photograph is a portrait of a choir boy at St. Peter's Cathedral. On the back is an inscription that reads "The Prima Donna of St. Peter's Cathedral." There is also a remnant of a previous inscription that shows "rle" that leads one to believe this is another portrait of Ernest Earle.

Frederick de St. Croix Brecken portrait

The portrait is of Frederick de St. Croix Brecken, founder and early trustee of St. Peter's Cathedral Church. Research indicates that he was a lawyer, politician, and office holder; he was born on 9 December 1828 in Charlottetown, the second son of John Brecken and Margaret Leah de St Croix. He married Helen Leith Boyd Emslie in Saint John, New Brunswick on 28 September 1858 and they had three children. He died on 14 October 1903 in Charlottetown.

This photograph shows the "High Tea", run by the Bishop Binney group just before the New Hall was built. The members include (l-r) Nancy Oxford, Pauline Smith, Rosemary Mathis, Yvonne Weatherby Annie Carter, Hannah Ghiz, Betty Acorn, Dorothy Acorn, Katie Woodside, Carrie Costain and Marjorie Vessey. Note that the painting on canvas behind the ladies was sketched by Jean Paul Westin.
