According to source information provided by St. Peter's Cathedral Church, the Atlantic Theological Conference was established in order to bring together people from all walks of life to hear papers and participate in discussions on issues of enduring theological importance. The Atlantic Theological Conference has no official church sponsorship and is funded through registration fees and individual donations. A grant from the Segelberg Trust (http://segelbergtrust.ca/) has provided additional support for the conference for several years.
The Atlantic Theological Conference Archives consist of correspondence, programmes, registration lists, reports, and published proceedings for annual conferences, often held at St. Peter's Cathedral Church. A total of 10 files hold conference records, as follows:

The legal, governance, and administration archives series consists of various documents from the late 19th century and early 20th century found in the Church archives that seemed to relate to legal issues, church governance, and general administration for St. Peter's Cathedral Church or to individuals prominent in the establishment and early years of the church, such as E. J. Hodgson, who acted as a Trustee of St. Peter's but who undertook other legal and business activities on his own behalf, or Lawrence W. Watson, who was a central figure in the administration of the church in early years. The documents also include correspondence related to the search for a replacement for George W. Hodgson, which finally resulted in the selection of Canon James Simpson in 1886.

Charity returns records are submitted by the church to the Canada Revenue Agency annually, in compliance with the Income Tax Act, in order to verify the church's status as a charitable agency. Final documents are retained by the church as archival evidence. The charity returns files are as follows:

Parochial returns records are submitted by the church to the Diocese of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, in order to support financial allocations across the diocese. The parochial return form provides financial disclosure re: all sources of income generated by every organization within the church, including interest earned by, and donations made to all funds or accounts maintained by the parochial corporation, including memorial accounts. Final documents are retained by the church as archival evidence. The parochial returns files are as follows:

The service bulletins series consists of bulletins, programmes, and leaflets prepared for St. Peter's church services and other special events. The regular service bulletins include information about the order of service as well as announcements and notices for the benefit of parishioners. Special service bulletins relate to funerals, weddings, confirmations, youth programmes, concerts, and ordinations, as well as leaflets about flowers for different services.
At least one copy of every bulletin found in the backlog has been retained, but the series is not complete and there are gaps in the records over the years. This series will expand as recent bulletins are transferred from the church office to the Archives.
A small selection of bulletins are described individually, with PDF copies produced for reference, if the bulletins relate to audiovisual recordings of the services in question. There is no plan to digitize all service bulletins at this time.

Dr. Wright, Montreal, Locum Tenens St. Peters and Georgetown Gave Lectern." According to Holy Trinity Church, Georgetown records Box 87, File 2, "J .M. Wright" was present at that church in 1878-1879 and in 1882-1884. Further identifying information is needed to confirm his name and role.
