The photographs form part of the collection brought together by St Peter's Cathedral Archives volunteers.
Scope and content
The photographs show Archdeacon Tanton conducting service at Victoria Park, Charlottetown, during visit of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip to Charlottetown. The visit took place in 1973, on the centennial of Prince Edward Island's entry into Confederation. The service was broadcast on national and international television. See also related PHOTO 0234.
