Scope and content
This book appears to be a draft of the Book of Common Praise hymn book being developed by the Hymnal Compilation Committee for use in the Church of England in Canada. It is understood that Reverend Canon James Simpson was a member of the committee, but his name does not appear on the list of committee members on p. v. of the publication. His signature appears at the top of the title page.
