The photograph was donated by Marjorie Vessey, who owned it since childhood and donated it in 2009.
Scope and content
The photograph shows a painting of the Holy family, with the infant held by his mother Mary, with and his father Joseph behind her. Embossed at the lower left is the studio and date "F. Hanfstaengl, 1871, Munchen".
